Abundance is a favourable but temporary reading. Everything is at its height: activity, resources, attention, output. The situation is genuinely rich, and it is also genuinely at the top of its curve.

The classical text insists on acting promptly and taking the fullest possible advantage while the light is available. It associates this peak with the point where decline becomes possible, not with a plateau you can settle into.
